This is Violet again, please take your time and wait for a girl that is flowing with your personality and not someone that you have to watch your every step with. Even if it takes awhile it is better to wait and find the right one because you want a happy relationship for life! You will be fine.

Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : Psychics will I find love in the next couple of months please?

I haven’t felt a spark on meeting a guy in a very long time..Will I meet someone and be in a relationship before the end of this year ? I’m fed up being single when I think that I am ready and deserve to fall in love and be loved 🙁 Can you tell me anything about a potential love interest that could come in my life soon please ? Thank you.

Answer by sloppyjakekisses
I think you will be introduced to someone. The best plan is to get out and spend time with other people. New people. Take art classes, or volunteer for a group. This person will not just instantly show up and surprise you out of no where. It seems that someone will introduce you to this new love. A new friend will say I’d like you to meet my brother (or cousin, friend). So you will meet the new guy through someone else. Friendships are always great and making new friends is always exciting. The new guy will not instantly fall in love with you. It will be a very gradual friendship with lots of laughs. You will have to get out there to connect with new friends.

Usually people who give you psychic readings through an email or a computer are scam artists who only want your money. It’s better if you see them in person. Stay away from people who claim to know things through a computer. These are professional liars.

Don’t fall for people that tell you that they can help you with an online reading. Those are scam artists who just want your money. Go to a real psychic and meet them in person.

Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : How much should an astrologer be paid for a reading?

Thanks for your opinions. Suppose an astrolger advertises his email address for readings, like in the yellow pages or newspaper or wherever. How much should the astrolger be paid for each reading. Suppose each reading takes at least a half hour of time to study, prepare, and write. Suppose the astrologer has ten or more years of experience in doing such readings. How much is a reading worth?

Answer by Happiness
For Less Than $ 5.00 .

I agree w/ the first answer, $ 5 or less.
Everything they tell people they’re reading from natal charts. Anyone can look up there natal/birth chart and see what the aspects and houses mean.

Answer by Dare
If Indian then you should not charge. If not Indian, £5-£10.

A good reading is going to take much longer than 30 minutes of study and preparation. A good reading should take many hours of preparation.

A good reading, from someone who is truly knowledgeable, should be about 150-200 dollars for the full reading…plus tips and candy.

Tattoo artists paint portraits for more…you would be painting a portrait as well. Sure someone can look it up online…but is seeing the Mona Lisa on google the same as seeing it in real life?

No. It’s not at all, the effect is completely different. Plus, someone who doesn’t know much, won’t really even know where to look.

*People should always be paid for their work. Otherwise, isn’t that like a form of spiritual slavery or something?

Expedient and full payment for services nullifies the chance of becoming indebted to another. This avoids really, really bad karma. Think 8th house.

What is more important accuracy or “experience”? As a consumer, exactly what are we paying them for? To predict the future or to be told stuff about us that we know already? How can we tell a good astrologer from a bad one? Again from a consumers point of view. Just their say so?

If I want the best (and I would) they should be able to show that they are worth it. Why don’t they get hired by big companies and get paid big salaries? Instead of settling for nickels and dimes? They are the ones that have a edge not us.

“In childhood our credulity serves us well. It helps us to pack, with extraordinary rapidity, our skulls full of the wisdom of our parents and our ancestors. But if we don’t grow out of it in the fullness of time, our … nature makes us a sitting target for astrologers, mediums, gurus, evangelists, and quacks. We need to replace the automatic credulity of childhood with the constructive skepticism of adult science.”

Because of the Spiritual connection with Astrology,Universal Energies and Man,an Astrologer assist the native in clarifying their energies. This to me should be a charity , that no amount of Money, should be exchanged. The rewards are good Karma…when it is from the Heart.

I equate it to a beautiful smile that is genuine and true, that smile can heal a fractured heart.

I do believe that if the person feels it is worth money, then the intentions of making a living off of people who seek these answers is not sincere….and they miss the point of it’s wisdom,in addition to having a surface knowledge.

The reward comes in other forms…….Astrology should never be your livelihood.

no astrologer is accurate; secondly even seasoned astrologer make mistakes.

Very experienced astrologer can charge a reasonable amt. And it does take time to study a chart, even if its just 1 Q they want to ask it still needs full study of chart. Who can say what is reasonable, it is something u must decide, as long as tis not something outrageous u should be ok.

It’s a very valid question.
We know what a lawyer would charge for his work per hour, or what an artist might charge, but what about the tremendous amount of study necessary to fully understand a chart?

I used to spend maybe ten hours on a chart or more, writing out complete explanations for the person, knowing that they could not understand the same “language” that astrologers use.
In the earlier years I also calculated the chart by hand down to the seconds of the degrees.
I plotted fixed stars, judged strengths of each planet and the balance of the chart, looked up the old esoteric meanings of the degrees, all that. No detail was left undone. Synthesis was the goal, and an understanding of the person’s tendencies.
And I charged my clients twenty dollars.
It was a gift. The twenty dollars was to make them give it some thought. Otherwise, everyone would have said, “Hey, do my chart too, won’t you?” and I would have been swamped. I did have a day job, after all.
Sometimes you just have to give back to the world, and for me, it was my way of giving a gift to people.
I did it for 43 years, just like that. Mothers came to me after babies were born, wives asked about husbands, young people wanted to know about falling in love with the right one. Men asked if they had chosen the right occupation, sick people wanted to know why they were so afflicted.
They became a gift to me, of understanding that all human beings have their fears and anxieties.
I learned from astrology about the human race.
I think I was well paid.

More and more people have become interested in Astrology. New Age is now a much sought out subject. Astrologers fees can run from anything between $ 150 dollars for just a half hour reading to $ 500 dollars for an hour with audio tape of the reading included.

Answer by Miss 6
Wow I can’t believe the people who said $ 5! They must not put any real time into anything for others or lack care for what they do!
I do tarot reading and I know its different from putting a chart together but I when I do a reading on line it takes a lot to put in the information that I have for that querent. There is no conversation you get with phone or face to face readings. To put things in writing can really take up a lot of time and I know you put a lot of energy in it. I’d say anything over $ 50 nothing less but of course more.
My local metaphysical store does charts for $ 20 but no one goes over your chart with you, they just print it out off a computer program. If you’re going the extra step beyond the program or don’t use a program at all then that’s a lot of care and effort. People will pay you for your time.

**To the person who said you can find your natal chart for free on line. While that is true, a lot of people don’t know their time of birth so in many cases an astrologer would have to put more time and effort into ones chart trying to find major cycles to determine ones rising sign. This is not an easy tasks and cannot be done for free from on line software.

I can’t answer how much “should” an astrologer be paid for a reading.

I can tell you how much the astrologers charged in the store I worked for. We had three astrologers affiliated with the store, two tarot readers and one potion maker. Two of the astrologers hand drew their charts, did all the calculations themselves and did a full hour consultation on the chart. They provided a written report (around 3 pages) and allowed the person to call back two times for additional questions via telephone, etc (they called these short consults) They both charged $ 150 a piece for this package. The third had a private customer list and they were all charged differently for different things. 30 Dollars for a written report, plus 50 for a consultation, and such. I do know that she used software for the charting but not for the report. I know that the two ladies were professionally trained and had been with the shop for at least 8 years, but I don’t know the extent of their experience.

I think that 5 dollars is ludicrous, if you are a trained, credentialed, and educated astrologer. Even when I was a novice (under the guidance of another astrologers) I would receive 20 bucks for inking a chart. (We offered charts inked on parchment and framed. They were very popular.)

Its a lot of work. Most of the ones Iknow charge $ 75 the first 1/2 hour and it goes upwards. Depends on the time you spend. As for the $ 5 chare. I would charge that just to ring my doorbell.

The Petals Fall Twice – A Dramatic Reading

Written by LoveDrNikki

I was born with my innate gifts of clairvoyance (see things), clairaudient (hear things), clairsentient (know things). By the time I was 3 I knew there were things that I knew that I could not tell anyone about because they got really weird if I did. At 13 I got my first deck of tarot cards (Ryder – Waite) and started doing readings professionally.

At 16 I had my first near death experience when I was in a pick-up truck that hit a semi-tractor trailer truck. My dad had died several years earlier – and he had been a semi-truck driver. I was fortunate enough to receive my Father as a Spirit Guide that day, My second NDE was when I was 18 – I was in a Piper Cub 2 seater aircraft that did a hard landing into the side of a mountain. I have spent my entire life studying and working with the wyrd and wonderful in all its guises. While not required by any means I enjoy using the Tarot or any of the other divination tools I have at hand you may want to use for your reading.

I have Doctorate Degrees in Divinity (D.Div) and Theology (Th.D.) from Northern Lights Seminary and continue to study. Among some of my other titles are Psychic Minister, Esoteric Minister, High Priestess, Shaman, Spiritual Coach, Psychic Coach, Psychic Healer, Life Coach, Relationship Coach, Small Business Consultant, Paralegal, Executive Director and College student. I am honored to be a “reader’s reader,” meaning that many of the people do readings for are readers or spiritual workers themselves.
