Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : If you could make up any high school course for a school district, what would it be?

I’m writing a column for my school newspaper, and its a list of classes that I wish high school had. Some of it is serious such as Latin and Creative Writing, and others are belly dancing and palm reading.

I only need one more… I originally had glassblowing, but my teacher said it sounded like we would use the class to make bongs or pipes 😛

Any funny/creative ideas anyone?

like a business studies/fashion/texiles class.
where you get to design, and make, and then try to sell your clothes, i dunno how it would work but that wud be fab!

It’s just as accurate as astrology. But astrology is bogus superstition.

“It’s pretty accurate.” Citation please!!

It’s pretty accurate. Put it this way, Your Parents are experienced in certain things, and once they tell you to do something, it’s for a certain reason. It can be similar said about Palm Reading.
Palm reading, is attached to the person’s skin the day they are born, but a bit smaller cause it’s the infant’s hand, but if you think carefully about this person’s personality, intelligence, and their style you should know it’s as I said Pretty real, unless you changed certain things, then it’s an exception.

Palm reading and astrology are forms of divination. Fortune telling based on random things and events. Here are just a few:

aleuromancy (divination by flour)
anthropomancy (divination by interpreting the organs of newly sacrificed humans)
capnomancy (divination by the smoke of an altar or sacrificial incense)
dactylomancy (divination by means of rings put on the fingernails or the number of whorls and loops on the fingers)
gastromancy (by the sound of or marks on the belly)
ithomancy (divination using precious stones)
rumpology (divination by the lines on the buttocks) (My favorite)
sternomancy (divination by the marks from the breast to the belly)
sycomancy (by figs)
tasseography (reading tea leaves)
tephromancy (by ashes)
uromancy (divination by reading bubbles made by urinating in a pot)

As you see, almost anything can be use in fortune telling. Especially body parts, human or animal. None of these has been remotely prove to have any truth, but who want truth?

✰✪✰ In 2010, I predicted the exact date of the August 23, 2011 – Mineral, Virginia 5.8 magnitude earthquake that rocked the entire East Coast of the United States and up through Canada creating more than $300 million dollars in damage.
I had also seen a fantastic amount of water, coming in shortly thereafter. I therefore notified the appropriate government authorities to warn them.
17 Hours after the quake, Hurricane Irene made landfall less than 300 miles from the epicenter of the Earthquake.
Damage estimates from this hurricane, throughout the United States were near $19.6 billion dollars, which made it the 5th costliness hurricane in United States history
The coastlines were evacuated and lives were saved because of this prediction and appropriate warnings.
