palm reading

Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : How do fortune tellers know so much about me?

I had my palm read and i was scared how right she was about me. Like how i deeply care about others, that could just be a guess but she knew i lost a close family member and she also knew i was going on a vacation soon….if she knows what i’ve been through does she really know what will happen to me in the future? How does she do it?!

Thank you (:
She didnt ask questions he sat me down and told me everything

Your welcome.

It sounds like the palm reader did what’s called “cold reading” — she made vague statements about you that apply to the majority of people. It’s summer, so it’s not surprising that she’d guess you’re going on vacation. Most people lose a close family member at some point or another. None of those predictions are specific enough to be all that miraculous, imo.

some are fake and will ask you questions so they can fool you into knowing you by what you were saying about your life, love, other stuff. if she never asked questions that could of led her to giving you such answers maybe she is really psychic and is right.

They do not, it is a trick. They glean answers from you while asking you questions,it is called mentalism.Science has shown E.S.P has no validity.Mentalism can also be done by analyzing tone of voice, manner of dress, facial expressions ,words, body language, ect.Mentalists combine the tricks of magic and psychology.

You should watch Penn and Teller’s show and see the one they did on cold reads. It will give you a very good explanation about how that sort of thing works. The character in Lie to Me uses that as well. Although there it is a tad exaggerated, but the concept is the same.

They don’t they just get you to believe they do,cha ching. Flip side is you tell them.

It’s all just guesswork. Pretty much everyone has lost a close family member at some point and a lot of people go on holiday in summer. These things really aren’t anything out of the ordinary or difficult to work out.

If it came down to really specific things, my guess would be that she wouldn’t be any more accurate than the rest of us.

If she’s so good at seeing the future, then why isn’t she going out and predicting lottery numbers? Because she can’t see the future.

That would be something you may want to let an antique dealer look at

Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : What does it mean when a guy asks for your hand and..?

..starts doing a random palm reading trying to read your lines in your palm, and then lets go but grabs it again and starts just rubbing your hand to get something off..

and he holds it for a good one minute.. isnt that just an excuse to hold a girl’s hand?

Mila Kunis Palm Reading

Written by LoveDrNikki

I was born with my innate gifts of clairvoyance (see things), clairaudient (hear things), clairsentient (know things). By the time I was 3 I knew there were things that I knew that I could not tell anyone about because they got really weird if I did. At 13 I got my first deck of tarot cards (Ryder – Waite) and started doing readings professionally.

At 16 I had my first near death experience when I was in a pick-up truck that hit a semi-tractor trailer truck. My dad had died several years earlier – and he had been a semi-truck driver. I was fortunate enough to receive my Father as a Spirit Guide that day, My second NDE was when I was 18 – I was in a Piper Cub 2 seater aircraft that did a hard landing into the side of a mountain. I have spent my entire life studying and working with the wyrd and wonderful in all its guises. While not required by any means I enjoy using the Tarot or any of the other divination tools I have at hand you may want to use for your reading.

I have Doctorate Degrees in Divinity (D.Div) and Theology (Th.D.) from Northern Lights Seminary and continue to study. Among some of my other titles are Psychic Minister, Esoteric Minister, High Priestess, Shaman, Spiritual Coach, Psychic Coach, Psychic Healer, Life Coach, Relationship Coach, Small Business Consultant, Paralegal, Executive Director and College student. I am honored to be a “reader’s reader,” meaning that many of the people do readings for are readers or spiritual workers themselves.
