palm reading

Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : I am going to see a psychic next week- what should I ask her?

it’s my first palm reading and I am not sure what to do. I might try tarot cards instead. what should I do? I know she is legit so don’t try and tell me she is a phony or I am wasting my time. She is real! So what should I ask her and how should I behave?

Answer by waiting to exhale
can you do both? tell her you didn’t know what to ask her so you want what she tells you. unless you remember the question you’ve been dying to ask a psychic all your life by then! your tarot cards change throughout life but your palms don’t . get whatever reading you want most

Answer by Marina
You should have a tarot card reading. It is definitely more insightful than a palm reading. You won’t have to ask anything at first…you will shuffle and select cards and she will do a general reading. Then, the questions will start. Ask anything you want; more details about the general reading, about people you’re connected to and are curious about, any situation you’re facing…anything!

Maybe you should ask her what made you ‘insecure’ or ‘curious’ enough to ask her about your future.

Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : What note is a palm mute (read description i cant exlain it with just a couple of words!)?

what is the actual note of a palm mute. For example, if you palm mute an E note on guitar, what would the new note after it is palm muted be? How would you copy that palm mute onto something like i piano? say there is supposed to be a palm mute before the chord, would the piano play the palm muted part that the guitar played, or just play the chord?

Answer by The Truth Hurts! Ouch!
This is a tough one because: 1) it depends in exactly where you’re resting your palm, and 2) depending on how well it’s muted, it may not even be a discernible note. It will be sharper than an E, but how sharp depends on where your palm is. Normally when people do a palm mute they’re only strumming the muted string(s) so no actual chord would ring out.

On a piano, the best way to do this would be to play it on the E note staccato (not the whole chord).

Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : need help for random project ideas that are interesting and can be ANYTHING?

okay i need a random ideas for a project
it can be anything at all
something interesting and fun that i can present in a fun way to the class.
something maybe on a phsychology topic, the pranormal, palm reading interesting things like that . x

Answer by Mike
It would help to know what class this is for, and what grade you are in. Something that might work for a 4th grade class might not go over so well in a college class.

Do you ever watch Lie to Me? It is a TV show where this guy reads people’s facial expressions, etc, to determine if they are telling the truth or lying. You might be able to enlist a classmate to demonstrate (by exaggerating) this. You can say, “Notice how she looked down and to the right when she answered the question. This is an indication that she lied.” Obviously, you would want to research this a little more and find more examples.

Answer by Hand Research
Hello Shelly,

Since you mentioned ‘palm reading’… for sure, using YOUR HANDS would be a great way to get your class familiar with the phenomenon ‘hand reading’ (palmistry & palm reading are just synonyms for ‘reading hands’).

Maybe you might want to explore the content of the ‘Modern Hand Reading Forum’ (see the first source belown), which includes variouis topics that related to various aspects of ‘hand reading’ (including some very scientific topics!).

And additionally I would like to recommend to take a look at my own ‘hand research’ project (see the 2nd source below) – I am sure that you will recognize how it is related to the forum that I mentioned.

Would be nice to hear about your experience if you choose to continue with the topic ‘palm reading’!

Anyway, good luck with your project!

Greeting from the Netherlands,

Martijn.

I was born with my innate gifts of clairvoyance (see things), clairaudient (hear things), clairsentient (know things). By the time I was 3 I knew there were things that I knew that I could not tell anyone about because they got really weird if I did. At 13 I got my first deck of tarot cards (Ryder – Waite) and started doing readings professionally.

At 16 I had my first near death experience when I was in a pick-up truck that hit a semi-tractor trailer truck. My dad had died several years earlier – and he had been a semi-truck driver. I was fortunate enough to receive my Father as a Spirit Guide that day, My second NDE was when I was 18 – I was in a Piper Cub 2 seater aircraft that did a hard landing into the side of a mountain. I have spent my entire life studying and working with the wyrd and wonderful in all its guises. While not required by any means I enjoy using the Tarot or any of the other divination tools I have at hand you may want to use for your reading.

I have Doctorate Degrees in Divinity (D.Div) and Theology (Th.D.) from Northern Lights Seminary and continue to study. Among some of my other titles are Psychic Minister, Esoteric Minister, High Priestess, Shaman, Spiritual Coach, Psychic Coach, Psychic Healer, Life Coach, Relationship Coach, Small Business Consultant, Paralegal, Executive Director and College student. I am honored to be a “reader’s reader,” meaning that many of the people do readings for are readers or spiritual workers themselves.
