palm reading

Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : I just bought a Palm Centro- How do you sync your documents to go to your computer?

I just bought a palm centro… And I’ve used Microsoft word a few times, but when I sync it to my computer the documents do not show up… Do I have to buy another software for this or Is there something I’m not doing right… There are solutions on line for Sprint users but I’m with ATT.

Answer by sqearlyboy
You should of had a disc that came with your phone. Pop that baby in the computer, and it will show you how to do it. You have to first install that disc on your computer.

I have a Palm Centro with AT&T.
Installed Palm Desktop CD.
Laptop Windows Vista User.

I have tried to sync my WORD documents FROM my Centro TO my computer, using the cable provided but I can’t get it to work also.

My remedy doesn’t use the sync method but at least you will be able to view the WORD documents from your Centro to your computer.

REMEDY:

1. I bought a microSD card. MicroSD cards can be bought at any store that sells electronics.

Insert the microSD card into the microSD slot. The microSD slot is found at the right side of the Centro when facing up, next to the InfraRed slot.

In order to insert the microSD slot into your Centro, you must remove the battery cover. After the cover is removed (there is no need to remove the battery), lift the microSD slot door up, towards the Palm screen and insert microSD card face down with the metal strips of the microSD card on the bottom.

When you insert the card, you should hear a CLICK SOUND.

2. Once the microSD card has been inserted, go to the Centro icons page and click on the DOCUMENTS icon.

3. Find your document while in DOCUMENTS TO GO and highlight it.

4. After it is highlighted, PRESS the MENU button, which is directly to the right of the ALT button on the Centro qwerty keyboard.

5. A new window will open – scroll down using the PALM BROWSER BUTTON and locate and highlight MOVE TO CARD and press the PALM browser button.

6. The WORD document has now been saved to the microSD card. Remove the microSD card from the microSD slot and insert the microSD card to a SD CARD ADAPTER. (The SD card adapter usually comes with the microSD card).

7. Insert the SD card adapter into your computer. (If your computer does not have a SD card slot, you can always buy an SD card flash adapter that can be inserted into any USB slot. www.dealextreme.com sells ’em for cheap).

8. Click the START button on the computer and go to COMPUTER.

9. You should find a drive that says something like, “Secure Digital Storage.” Click on that.

10. It will take you to the following:

AUDIO/DCIM/DOCUMENTS/PALM

12. Click on DOCUMENTS and there you will find your WORD document.

13. Double left click on your document to open it. Once it is open, left click on FILE at the top left of the window and left click on SAVE AS.

14. At the top of the new window, find SAVE IN — it will usually save the file in DOCUMENTS. I click on DESKTOP since it’s easier to find and will be saved on my computer’s desktop.

15. Under FILE NAME, type whatever you like.

16. Under SAVE AS TYPE: select Microsoft Word 97/2000/XP (.doc).

17. WORD document has now been saved to your computer’s desktop.

=================

To sync WORD documents from computer to Centro, just go to any WORD document.

1. Open the document. Click on File and then SAVE AS. A new window opens. Find SAVE AS TYPE: Click on Microsoft Word 97/2000/XP (.doc), saving the document as a .doc file.

2. After saving the document, EXIT the document. Then find the document and RIGHT CLICK on the WORD document you want to sync. Scroll down to SEND TO.

2. A new window will appear — go to Palm Powered(TM) Handheld and left click on Palm Powered(TM) Handheld.

3. INSTALL TOOL window will open, showing the document you selected. Click on DONE.

4. A new window opens that says, “the listed file will be installed on next hotsync operation.” Click OK.

5. Connect your sync cable to both your computer and Centro and press the hotsync button.

6. After the hotsync, you can find your WORD document using Documents to Go on the DOCUMENTS icon — there, you can read and edit the WORD document.

You can also use this method to view PDF documents from your computer to your Centro.

============

The Centro can hold up to 4gigs. With the microSD card, you can also save MP3 Files and listen to it on your Centro using Ptunes, and also view pictures from computer to Centro, using the method used above by right clicking and using the SEND TO method as noted above.

If you are a road warrior, you can buy the portable qwerty bluetooth Palm keyboard Model Number:3245WW that’ll fit into your pant pocket.

If you can type fairly fast, using a full sized qwerty keyboard comes in handy for lecture and note taking instead of lugging around a laptop.

Even though, it says the bluetooth keyboard is not initially compatible to a Centro, here’s a link where you can download the driver from Palm so that it’ll work with your Centro.

ENJOY YOUR CENTRO!

Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : How to develop psychic abilities?

I’m sort of into the whole psychic ability thing. More witch like Bonnie from the vampire diaries. Also like the whole aura (idk if I spelt it right) and getting vibes from how people are feeling. I’m not really all into the tarot card crystal ball palm reading thing. What are some tests To see how psychic I am? Or practices to develop this ability. Also I like the whole telepathic and moving things with my mind

Answer by Anna Bear
im sorry, but those dont exist. i learned the hard way…

Answer by eri
Sorry, none of that stuff is real. It’s just fantasy. No one has those abilities, auras don’t exist, neither do psychics, no one can do telepathy. You’re confusing fantasy books with real life.

Since no one has ever been able to prove that they are truly psychic it is not known how if at all such abilities could be developed.

People don’t radiate magical light either so the whole aura thing is just a visual illusion, some people see them as a symptom of a medical condition other people imagine that they can by staring at someone for so long that they experience retinal fatigue.

And sorry but telekinesis has never been proved to be real either.

There are various online tests that supposedly test how psychic you are although I’m not sure how useful they are.
When skeptic societies test someone that claims to be psychic they first ask the person what it is that they think they can do and then design a test individually to suit them. It’s no good trying to test if a person can read minds when their paranormal claim is that they can see things inside sealed envelopes for example.

If you would like to learn about people that have been tested for paranormal abilities this site may interest you. http://www.randi.org/site/

Say no to telepathy and telekinesis is you’re not sure how to even learn the basics, it won’t work. First things you should try are: meditation, affirmations and energy work, such as Tai Chi Chuan or Qigong, or New Energy ways. From that, you can move to emotional healing (core images, or rebirthing, or similar systems), and from that, to more practical things like practice of psychic readings or psychometry etc.

I was born with my innate gifts of clairvoyance (see things), clairaudient (hear things), clairsentient (know things). By the time I was 3 I knew there were things that I knew that I could not tell anyone about because they got really weird if I did. At 13 I got my first deck of tarot cards (Ryder – Waite) and started doing readings professionally.

At 16 I had my first near death experience when I was in a pick-up truck that hit a semi-tractor trailer truck. My dad had died several years earlier – and he had been a semi-truck driver. I was fortunate enough to receive my Father as a Spirit Guide that day, My second NDE was when I was 18 – I was in a Piper Cub 2 seater aircraft that did a hard landing into the side of a mountain. I have spent my entire life studying and working with the wyrd and wonderful in all its guises. While not required by any means I enjoy using the Tarot or any of the other divination tools I have at hand you may want to use for your reading.

I have Doctorate Degrees in Divinity (D.Div) and Theology (Th.D.) from Northern Lights Seminary and continue to study. Among some of my other titles are Psychic Minister, Esoteric Minister, High Priestess, Shaman, Spiritual Coach, Psychic Coach, Psychic Healer, Life Coach, Relationship Coach, Small Business Consultant, Paralegal, Executive Director and College student. I am honored to be a β€œreader’s reader,” meaning that many of the people do readings for are readers or spiritual workers themselves.
