I have been using creme de la mer for four years and I love it. I also started using your cleansing lotion. Your foundation ius fabulous I use it every day. Great coverage yet very smooth. I wish I could use more products but as you already know they are costly. Going to order now!!! Love your free sample

2. LaMer Addict for 8 years
June 17, 2009
The smell of this alone is enough to keep you coming back. My husband loves the smell when I come to bed. I generally wear it at night (a little too heavy for daytime use) but I always wake up looking dewy and well rested. My skin appears younger and my fine lines are plumed out. Definitely worth a try!

3. Can’t Beat La Mer
Date: June 17, 2009
I am on a tight budget and the economy is scary right now, but I cannot resist. I MUST treat myself, and my skin, to La Mer! I live in the hot, dry desert and La Mer keeps my skin moisturized, soft and glowing like nothing else! I also love the Lip Balm; it is not too greasy and keeps my lips soft in the dry air conditioning of my office. It is tough to splurge, but you deserve La Mer!

4. La Mer
Date: June 17, 2009
Benefits: supple soft skin.
I have been using this product for over 15 years, and it works. I look 10 to 15 years younger than I should and credit this to faithfully using this creme. It is pricey, but a jar lasts a long time, so it actually costs me less than other products. Besides, it works! I lived in Santa Fe for years—lived in the sun, and I have, unless I smile, unwrinkled skin. What more can you ask for?
I saw the ads–and finally bought a jar, and have been buying it ever since.

4.0 out of 5 stars La Mer Products in General, May 6, 2005
By Wanda Fish (Slopes of Mauna Kea, Hawai’i) – See all my reviews
La Mer should, at least initially, be purchased from a trained salesperson. There is alot of fol-de-rol with this line, and you will need assistance selecting the right product and coaching in how to use it.

If you buy it from a large enough retailer of the product (Nordstrom at South Coast Plaza, for example), you will be invited to special workshops. And any retail sales person will put you on their list and call you when there are gifts-with-purchase.

I use this line, but I also use others. My only qualm with this one is that the Creme is made with mineral oil, which I personally find is not helpful to skin. (Think about it, it’s a petroleum product.) This is one reason it must be “liquified” in the palm of your hand. And not a little, a lot.

You have to be willing to suspend your disbelief and accept the product’s “miracle” properties that cannot be described by science. For the analytical person, there will be greater faith in lines that are continually researching, advancing their science, and doing clinical studies. For general, versus “targeted” skin care, this is a very good line.

This line requires patience and practice. If you are a slap-dash person or someone who has to rush out the door in the morning, this is probably not the line for you.

This line is geared to Women and Men of a Certain Age (and with a certain pocketbook) and more youthful skins may find other skin care products more to their needs.

Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : Teaching myself the guitar?

I want to learn guitar ON MY OWN. any good books? also, i hear that if u know how to play the piano you pretty much know the guitar, and im really good at piano since im a fast learner. thanks! so how is it alike and how can i teach myself

Answer by Steven Smidley
The internet has many great resources. There are guitar tab sites if you want to just start playing songs you like. has video lessons for free that show how to read guitar tab and play songs like Fur Elise by Beethoven or the Super Mario Bros music. is the go to place for tabs though, they have thousands of tabs.

Knowing how to play the piano will give you a slight advantage. But the technique is not the same. The theory is the same though. If you want a book I would start at the library or has lots of cheap books. Good luck with your musical training.

Answer by ak_gamer0615
Mel Bay’s Guitar Method is pretty good for learning the basics. But once you got that down, try learning to read guitar tablature. Most people will post the tablature for songs online (like on

Knowing how to play the piano will help you in reading the music and, if you learned music theory on the piano, it will help you to recognize intervals, modes, and scales.
But just pick up a generic guitar method book, and learn the basics with a pick. Then, just find songs online to practice and improve your skill (if you get an electric guitar, pick rock songs to learn sliding, Palm-mute, etc; I mainly play my classical guitar, so I ditched the pick and play fingerstyle).

Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : I want to move to Palm Desert, but my mom doesn’t want to, what do I do please read! HELP ME im so unhappy?

I currently live in Oregon, I lived here for about 3 years before I moved to Palm Desert California, about 2 months ago my mom made a terrible decision, to move back to Oregon because my stepdad had to quit his job in PD. she hates/hated that place, because of the weather (Tbh i think that’s just a lame excuse) I’m 16, that year I lived in PD I was the happiest girl in this planet, i met so many great people, I grew stronger as a person, I kind of became more independent, I became more confident, I learned how people really are, and I just loved the world. Yes, I did flunk my freshman year, and i see that she has a point when she tells me that the place changed me. Many things happened when we were there, my older sister moved out for college, so its just my sister and me ( she completely agrees) My mom is going through menopause, ok I know this may sound mean but SHE IS SO DIFFERENT, Now that we are back in Oregon, I WE HATE this, even she does. me and my other sis are doing online school because this place is full of bad people. THIS is my problem she agreed to move back to CALIFORNIA but she doesn’t want to move to Palm Desert ( i’ve come to the conclusion that she only wants to move close to my sis that went to college) I think this is so unfair. My stepdad doesn’t care where we move ” wherever I can find a job” So since he told me that I’ve sent him 100000+ of emails daily of jobs in Palm Desert, but I think my mom told him to ignore them, even if she says she didn’t. She always gets mad whenver I say I want to move back. She can’t use the excuse of ” your grades” anymore because I have all a’s and b’s. I’ve moved 9 times in my life and i’m fed up, i also told her that I had two years until i turn 18 but it didnt work she just got mad at me. My life right now is sooo sad, I’ve never been this unhappy i’ve gone through many things, I’d do ANYTHING to go back, ANYTHING. I’d go back in a heartbeat, can some please give me some advice what should I do? How can I work something out? Please dont tell me i have to go wherever my mom goes, I know that. i’ve told her that I’d get good grades and i’d do whatever she wanted me to do, and that i’d be the happiest girl in the planet if we’d move back to PD she still doesnt want to. she also said that she’d go wherever my stepdad cna find a job, but i think she is lying to me. I dont know why cant she just think about me for a second I dont ask for anything I don’t party, i don’t smoke, I don’t have tattoos or piercings. Im just so unhappy i dont do anything.. literally i stay in my room all day and she gets mad if i text or if im in the computer all day, she doesnt let me hangout with any guy, and i’ve never been to a concert in my life D: someone help me what can i do, and yeah i still love my mom and im sorry if it sounded mean but why doesnt she understand me? :'(

Answer by TheOne
if your parents can’t get jobs in PD, how will they support you ?

are you going to get a job ? pay the bills ?

you need to take a deep breath and chill outs

your parents need to make the decision on what is best for your family – and that includes everyone in your family

they are probably under a lot of pressure and you are not helping by complaining

did you ever hera the saying – you can get more with honey then vinegar

try some honey

Some things are beyond even mom’s control. California has a severe unemployment problem right now. Your step-father couldn’t possibly be eligible for all of those jobs you’ve sent him info about. And there’s no way you’ll enjoy yourself in Oregon when you won’t go outside and meet people. You need to foucs on the present. Make friends now, where you are. Palm Desert is a fantasy that might not come true, and in the meantime you’re wasting your youth complaining and dreaming.

I was born with my innate gifts of clairvoyance (see things), clairaudient (hear things), clairsentient (know things). By the time I was 3 I knew there were things that I knew that I could not tell anyone about because they got really weird if I did. At 13 I got my first deck of tarot cards (Ryder – Waite) and started doing readings professionally.

At 16 I had my first near death experience when I was in a pick-up truck that hit a semi-tractor trailer truck. My dad had died several years earlier – and he had been a semi-truck driver. I was fortunate enough to receive my Father as a Spirit Guide that day, My second NDE was when I was 18 – I was in a Piper Cub 2 seater aircraft that did a hard landing into the side of a mountain. I have spent my entire life studying and working with the wyrd and wonderful in all its guises. While not required by any means I enjoy using the Tarot or any of the other divination tools I have at hand you may want to use for your reading.

I have Doctorate Degrees in Divinity (D.Div) and Theology (Th.D.) from Northern Lights Seminary and continue to study. Among some of my other titles are Psychic Minister, Esoteric Minister, High Priestess, Shaman, Spiritual Coach, Psychic Coach, Psychic Healer, Life Coach, Relationship Coach, Small Business Consultant, Paralegal, Executive Director and College student. I am honored to be a “reader’s reader,” meaning that many of the people do readings for are readers or spiritual workers themselves.
