Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : Palm reading??????

in my culture my mother says that my left hand is mine (im a male) and when u read palms you read my left and my right hand is my wifes does that mean if i find the girl with the same creases and such on the right hand that she is my soulmate?

have any of u heard about this? or u just read the right hand of everyone. I know this is really unclear and weird but when reading the palm in my culture (Vietnamese) we read the left for the male and right for female

Answer by j m
Left hand how you should live your life.

Right hand is how your life has been lived.

people read palms in so many ways! I my culture (hindu) it’s always right hand I think. So…does it really matter? who knows??

Answer by Mother anne
Many cultures use palm reading and most of them take on a different idea or methods to do so.
Usually, when giving a reading, the persons hand which they use often, shows what they are making of their life, while the weaker hand or hand not used as often, shows what “could be”, or your “destiny” if you will.

The lines on our hands are constantly changing and finding someone with the exact same lines would be very rare. Not nessesarily meaning they are your soulmate, just meaning that you have much in common with how your life is going and how you go about your life. if that makes sense.
Not that your mother is wrong, on the contrary, she just has a different method.
All forms of divination, palm reading being only one form, rely mostly on the readers interperetation. It is all what the reader finds more usefull or informative to them, so if your mom says, left for men, right for women, this is what works for her the best, however again, it is the individual who is giving the reading that will decide at the time how and why they give the reading the way they do.

The left hand is what you start out with in life. The right hand is what you will make with this , how events will turn out.
That is how palmistry is read on this side of the world.

N.B. Lines never change in our hands. Even if you are poor and inherit a million dollar, your hands will indicate the era it happened.

Answer by Heather K
For your first question, no. Doesn’t mean you are soulmates if the lines on your hand are the same, just means that you have a lot in common.
I know a few palm readers and both of them do it different ways. One reads both of the hands, mainly at the same time and the other one reads strictly the dominant hand.
I think Mother Anne is right, different strokes for different folks.

Are you all believe in palm reading? then why do newly baby born dies immediately after having long life line on their palms

Answer by Melissa
Are you asking or attempting debate?

I personally haven’t looked into it much so I’d have to say no.

Have babies died with a long life line? What is your experience/ reading/ proof of this? How accurate/biased/trusted is your source?

Answer by ~Tgae~
If you are mourning a lose of a baby then I will pay my respects to you and your family.

Palmisty is another way to find charactistic in a person. Your life line doesn’t tell you if you when your going to die, but what kind of life or health issue we might encounter in your life. A baby newborn would not have a strong enough reading. They would not have as many lines as an toddler, child, teen or adult. Once you get older more and more lines appear and your lines and get deeper esp if you are a very stong person. The lines is more like a story. That is why some good palm readers can tell what a person have been though.

Hope in helps…..

People believe what they want. It does not take any time and effort. Seeking the truth does. Instead of unproved magical thinking, I like to believe in things that really exist. Education is one. I believe education is the key to a productive and happy life. Don’t see anyone offering big paying jobs to psychics and astrologers. If they could do what they claim, they would get top pay by the government or corporations.

Palm Reading with Palms

Written by LoveDrNikki

I was born with my innate gifts of clairvoyance (see things), clairaudient (hear things), clairsentient (know things). By the time I was 3 I knew there were things that I knew that I could not tell anyone about because they got really weird if I did. At 13 I got my first deck of tarot cards (Ryder – Waite) and started doing readings professionally.

At 16 I had my first near death experience when I was in a pick-up truck that hit a semi-tractor trailer truck. My dad had died several years earlier – and he had been a semi-truck driver. I was fortunate enough to receive my Father as a Spirit Guide that day, My second NDE was when I was 18 – I was in a Piper Cub 2 seater aircraft that did a hard landing into the side of a mountain. I have spent my entire life studying and working with the wyrd and wonderful in all its guises. While not required by any means I enjoy using the Tarot or any of the other divination tools I have at hand you may want to use for your reading.

I have Doctorate Degrees in Divinity (D.Div) and Theology (Th.D.) from Northern Lights Seminary and continue to study. Among some of my other titles are Psychic Minister, Esoteric Minister, High Priestess, Shaman, Spiritual Coach, Psychic Coach, Psychic Healer, Life Coach, Relationship Coach, Small Business Consultant, Paralegal, Executive Director and College student. I am honored to be a “reader’s reader,” meaning that many of the people do readings for are readers or spiritual workers themselves.
