A great resource online are math help forums. Participating by helping with problems is a great way to reinforce what you already know, and reading the topics and responses of others is a great way to learn new techniques, and you have the opportunity to ask questions fo those posting responses.

Here are two forums on which I participate:

A really good way to learn math, especially pre-calc and above, is through khan academy, a youtube channel. It’s easy to understand and a lot of concepts that are tricky to grasp through a book are given time and are explained well.

The guy behind khan academy has been backed by Bill Gates and even NASA from memory, due to his contribution to modern education.

I recommend using a comprehensive math textbook such as Thomas’s calculus and complimenting the readings with the khan academy videos on youtube.

For engineering you’ll need a good understanding of linear algebra, trigonometry, geometry and calculus.

Good luck.

Hi. I know my answer won’t help but I just wanna say you, Sir/Ma’am, have inspired me. Never thought that someone who’s interested in studies still exist. I am also in my senior year and I’m planning to take up civil engineering, but I never had the initiative to learn. Again, inspiring.

Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : Who reads the first and second reading during the Mass?

Ok I’m talking about the Roman Catholic Eucharist celebration, this is for my homework and I was absent for like 5-6 months >=P and next week is my confirmation, a question is given in my textbook, it says; THE FIRST AND SECOND READINGS ARE READ BY LECTORS. ONE PERSON WHO IS A LECTOR IN OUR PARISH IS: ___________________
who reads the First and Second readings? because usually it is a kid my age during the children’s mass O_o, I have no idea who reads them in the regular mass.

Answer by Sldgman
This question is asking for the name of a pewrson who is a lector at your church. Go ask the person his or her name after Mass.

Answer by Marysia
well john i don’t attend your parish so i don’t know WHO is a lector in your parish.

if it’s a kid your age – write in the NAME of the kid.

the question is made so you actually have to attend mass and listen.

Trained lay women or men who have received the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist.

With love in Christ.

I got some serious things going on right now regarding love and I need some answers.

I run a web site for Tarot & Tarot readers which gets about 50,000 visitors a month.

You didn’t specify a sub-category for “love” tarot.
I’ve found that they fall into 4 categories:
-Future Romance
-Relationship Analysis
-Me & my Ex
-The Other Woman

By far the most popular spread on my web site for Love and Romance is the “Future Romance” spread:

Next is “Relationship Analysis” 327

Then “Me & my Ex”

Finally “The Other Woman”

Do the spread yourself and then decide if you want it read by an expert.
Check out their profiles and feedback testimonials to decide who’s best suited to giving you the reading.

I was born with my innate gifts of clairvoyance (see things), clairaudient (hear things), clairsentient (know things). By the time I was 3 I knew there were things that I knew that I could not tell anyone about because they got really weird if I did. At 13 I got my first deck of tarot cards (Ryder – Waite) and started doing readings professionally.

At 16 I had my first near death experience when I was in a pick-up truck that hit a semi-tractor trailer truck. My dad had died several years earlier – and he had been a semi-truck driver. I was fortunate enough to receive my Father as a Spirit Guide that day, My second NDE was when I was 18 – I was in a Piper Cub 2 seater aircraft that did a hard landing into the side of a mountain. I have spent my entire life studying and working with the wyrd and wonderful in all its guises. While not required by any means I enjoy using the Tarot or any of the other divination tools I have at hand you may want to use for your reading.

I have Doctorate Degrees in Divinity (D.Div) and Theology (Th.D.) from Northern Lights Seminary and continue to study. Among some of my other titles are Psychic Minister, Esoteric Minister, High Priestess, Shaman, Spiritual Coach, Psychic Coach, Psychic Healer, Life Coach, Relationship Coach, Small Business Consultant, Paralegal, Executive Director and College student. I am honored to be a “reader’s reader,” meaning that many of the people do readings for are readers or spiritual workers themselves.
