Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : Which makeup is safer Miessence Organics OR Nvey Eco paraben free makeup?

Which makeup brand is better and more safe: Miessence Organics OR Nvey Eco thank you

Answer by erinely
The key to understanding the answer to this question is to read the ingredients lists and compare them and of course try them.

You never know how a product is going to work for you until you try it.

I read the ingredients list for the Nvey Eco paraben free makeup

Carthamus Tinctorius [Safflower] Oil, Caprylic Capric Triglyceride [Coconut Oil], Ricinus Communis [Castor] Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis [Jojoba] Oil, Cera Carnauba [Copernicia Cerifera Palm Wax], Cera Alba [Natural Beeswax], Candelilla Cera [Wax Derived From Euphorbia Cerifera], Tocopheryl Acetate [Vitamin E Acetate], Ascorbyl Palmitate [Vitamin C], Daucus Carota [Carrot Oil], Lonicera Caprifolium Extract [Honeysuckle Extract], Origanum Vulgare [Wild Marjoram] Extract, Thymus Vulgaris Extract [Thyme Extract], Cinnamomum Zeylanicum [Cinnamon Bark] Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis [Rosemary Leaf] Extract, Lavandula Angustifolia [Lavender Flower] Extract, Hydrastis Canadensis [Golden Seal] Root Extract. May contain:[+/-] CI 77019 [Mica], CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499, CI 77007, CI 77891.

Then I looked at the Miessence foundation ingredient list:

zinc oxide, may Contain: +/- iron oxides, sericite, certified organic rosa damascena (rose) essential oil

and personally, based on my own preference, I would go toward the Miessence, it has fewer ingredients, I understand what they are.

I also checked the Skin Deep Data base to see if I could find a rating of the product there and this is what I found.

Nvey Eco has NOT signed the Compact for Safe cosmetics.
They only had 3 products rated by Nvey on the site. The one foundation I found had a rating of 3.

I think that put it in the moderate hazard category.

One of the other differences is that in the Nvey, they are using the term “derived” from. When an ingredient is “derived” from, that means it is not in it’s natural state anymore.

Derived from means the ingredient was taken from it’s natural state, and processed chemically some way, meaning it is not in it’s natural state anymore.

I say away from “derived” from ingredients and I try to stay with the fewest listed ingredients and I always look for organic.

Miessence IS a signer of the compact for safe cosmetics and the foundation has a rating of 2, which is considered low hazard.

I would say that, you might need to try them to find out which one works the best for you.

Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : Can someone who can read Korean help me with this recipe (image)?

I just bought a box of Korean pancake mix, but I cannot read it. I just need the main instructions such as amount of water and amount of mix and any other special instructions.
Here is an image of the back of the box:

Ah, 호떡 (ho-ddeok), my favourite!

1. Making the dough:
Pour 1 sachet of ‘free mix’ (dough mix, I suppose), yeast and 280ml lukewarm water into a mixing bowl and knead with a rice scoop (ie. large spoon) for around 5 minutes until you can no longer see any flour.
*The dough doesn’t need to be left to rise.

2. Shaping the ho-ddeok:
In another bowl, pour the sachet of filling mix. (Recipe suggests wearing plastic gloves for the next bit; I never do.) Spread some cooking oil on your palms. Make a little parcel of around 70g and flatten it out on your hand. Put some filling mix in the middle of the flattened dough (with a spoon) and gather up the sides to properly cover the mix. (That’s the tricky bit over!)

3. Cooking:
Pour some cooking oil into a frying pan and warm over a low heat. Cook first for 10 seconds with the place where you gathered up the ho-ddeok on the bottom, then flip ho-ddeok over. Press it down evenly with a pancake turner or ho-ddeok presser, keep frying and flipping the ho-ddeok for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.

When ho-ddeok have gone cold, put them in the microwave for about 30 seconds and you can enjoy them warm and delicious again.

Lucky you. Enjoy. 🙂

Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : ONLY PEOPLE THAT KNOW HAND READING PLEASE i notice many people have an m in there hands but i have an n?

is it bad?
because i still havent met a person with an N instead of an M in their palm

no its not

A n on the hand means that one of your lines is missing. if your life line is missing then it means that your life is pointless and you will die shortly (life line is the one going down (last thick line) if the head line (middle one) is missing then it repersants no beleifes (it is .1% chance likley to be missing that line) if your missing the heart line then that means that you wont have any love throughout your life. these are just what i know also if the faint line that connects your heart line (top line) to your head line then that means nothing. that is just a line that most have with no meaning. hope i can help you!

N means that you do not have the destiny line. But I usually read this as the career line. This means that career path for you has not been set up when you were born. This is alright since you will not be controlled or restricted to a particular or certain path. You will then have more freedom to choose your career. Most career paths point up to the middle finger, meaning, you will have to join the same career as your father, or to the ring finger, where you have to follow a caring profession, like nursing or teaching. Or it could stop at the head line or the heart line, etc, wherever it is. You may find that you actually have a career line, but that it is broken. That is totally fine as I said earlier.

By the way, My right palm is M, but my left palm is N. For my friends, and those wanting to consult me, I would read the right palm first, and if it is not clear, I will read the left palm. Both palms usually show the same results, except for those who are unclear about their future, like those who have been confused about what they have been doing with their lives.

There is actually less confusion for those with N, because they are not restricted with any pre arranged career choices. You are guided by yourself, and you are a free person.

✰✪✰ In 2010, I predicted the exact date of the August 23, 2011 – Mineral, Virginia 5.8 magnitude earthquake that rocked the entire East Coast of the United States and up through Canada creating more than $300 million dollars in damage.
I had also seen a fantastic amount of water, coming in shortly thereafter. I therefore notified the appropriate government authorities to warn them.
17 Hours after the quake, Hurricane Irene made landfall less than 300 miles from the epicenter of the Earthquake.
Damage estimates from this hurricane, throughout the United States were near $19.6 billion dollars, which made it the 5th costliness hurricane in United States history
The coastlines were evacuated and lives were saved because of this prediction and appropriate warnings.
