Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : Will you let me read your fortune/future with playing cards?

I would use tarot cards but sadly my dad threw them away… Now that I think about it I can’t find my palm reading book either… But I just learned how to do what tarot cards do with a regular deck of playing cards. So will you let me read your fortune/future?
I don’t see a problem with these things. I’m a Pagan and I used to be baptist. I do a lot “worse” things than this such as talking to spirits/demons and ghost hunting.
I need your email in order to do it… The last person (sorry I forgot your name) I need your email. I have everyone elses.

I had a deck of tarot cards I used, I forgot them when I moved though, they were such a beautiful deck. In order to get a proper reading the person your doing a reading for needs to shuffle the cards to get their energy on them and they have to concentrate on the question they want answered.

Answer by Roman O
sure why not

yeah that would be cool

Good because you were dabbling in the occult and that brings demons into your home and on everyone there. It is dangerous and you should not be doing it.

Tarot cards are demonic. You need to repent to God for dabbling in the occult. Because if you do not stop playing with these cards thinking they are harmless, or just plain fun, you will wish you never played with them.
demons are real.
Not pretend,
Your life will be worse then it ever could be.

be smart and do not seek to know the future.
A forbidden practice is something that is an abomination to the Lord. This means Gods hates these things and does not want His children to have any thing to do with them. God tells us very clearly nine things that He hates. “When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations. here shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, or charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee. Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God (Deuteronomy 18:9-13).
God wants us to stay away from these things, not because He wants to control us, or deprive us of anything, but because He loves us, and knows these things are very dangerous. He wants us to stay away from these things regardless of what form they are in. For example, these occult practices may be the theme of a game, or a movie, or a book. If any of these themes are in something, do yourself a favor and avoid it.

Hayancinth if you’re going to use the bible to supress someone else then use it to the full extent and not just to what suits you. Before you tell the questioner that it is a sin and that god frowns upon it perhaps you should think about how you make him feel.

1Cor.14:34-35 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.
35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

As a woman I believe it is your duty to shut up. Speak not for it is shameful. Once you do follow this suppressive rule please do make sure that you stone to death all adulterers (both men and the woman who is involved), all teenagers that get drunk on weekends and all the hardworking individuals (large families on one income, single mothers, single fathers etc) who refuse to take a day off from work for they are not not keeping Holy the Sabbath. Look it up in the bible and it does say that all of the above SHOULD be put to death. So until you take care of them then you can come and tell people how it is a sin go read future events. The bible itself mentions how jesus had dreams and visions (and we are all children of God), how there will be prophets amoung us able to give us direction. Or are your eyes only looking to say no to others? Well Hayacinth I believe it is time I direct my attention to the questioner now…

I would absolutely love to take part in helping you grow in your spiritual journey. Let me know what you need and I will patiently wait for my reading wo which I will give as full a feedback as I possibly can. Do let me know what you’ll be needing and i’ll be sure to e-mail you as soon as I can.

Don’t even bother with these people who only want to say no to your development of any gift that serves the good of others. They fail to see their own actions and feel that it is easier to change the world through others not understanding that change happens from WITHIN. We must be the change we want to see in the world and not press unto others the rules we would like to see carried

I wish you the best on your journey and will await further instructions.

Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : Bible-reading Muslim ‘raped as punishment’?

Tuesday Apr 17 05:00 AEST
An Iraqi Muslim man allegedly raped a Muslim woman in Sydney’s southwest as punishment for her reading the Bible, The Daily Telegraph reports
The Campbelltown District Court heard yesterday that Abdul Reda Al Shawany told the woman Let your Jesus help you, & sexually assaulted her twice
Al Shawany has pleaded not guilty to two counts of having sexual intercourse without consent between September 1 & 27, 2002
Yesterday Crown prosecutor Michael O’Brien said the woman a practicing Muslim had allegedly received threats from members of her faith for reading the Bible
The woman claims she met Al Shawany, who she had known from overseas, at Warwick Farm railway station in September 2002 after he told her he had mail to deliver to her
Al Shawany then allegedly took her to a Warwick Farm unit where he assaulted her
She was wearing a hijab. The accused grabbed the hijab, the veil, & pulled it tight across her mouth, O’Brien told the court
She fell to the floor & she couldn’t scream because she had a hijab tight across her mouth
After raping her, Al Shawany allegedly said: Let your Jesus help you
Al Shawany, 52, denied to police that he had sexual intercourse with the woman or threatened her
My client is not a zealot, his barrister Chris Pike told the court.
The woman is expected to return to the witness stand today when the second day of the week-long trial commences before Judge David Knox.
When will the “good” moslems admit there is a problem with thier teachings
Dear DBznut you can’t excuse one persons’ inhumanity bu compairing it to anothers
Others committing similar acts don’t excuse your acts
dmlk2grl not likely
Personal accountability is obviously completely lacking in moslems
sen b where is personal accountability
Someone elses’ sin does not geiv you any right to commit the same sin

Moslems keep saying it about love a peace, while they keep killing

I can’t hear your word for your actions

Answer by swtmahmah76
Sad what people do in the name of religion.

Answer by DBznut
WHats your stupid question.

American soldiers rape, 14 year old girls in Iraq all the time, they even burn them to death and kill there whole family.

It was all over the news.

Answer by dondutkowski
Yes she was.

That is a very small example of Female Equality in islam.

Answer by milomax
This was not the act of a man who truly follows Islam. It was a hateful, cruel act by a man who has been brainwashed by fundamentalist ideas blended with cultural tradition. I hope he is prosecuted and punished to the fullest.

Edit to add: Personal accountability is NOT lacking in all Muslims. Do you know how many horrid acts are committed by people in the name of the Christian God? Are you going to put all Christians on a par with that?

How many Muslim people do you know personally? The ones I know would never do anything like what is described in the story – they would condemn it, and do condemn it.

Stop trying to add to the hate that is already too present on this forum and in the world.

Rape is not a teaching fool.
That man is a criminal.
No where does it say you can rape women or anyone for trying to get smarter.

There are christian men who rape too and murder so apparently it is an issue with christianity.

Answer by dmlk2grl
It’s not a religious thing. It’s a cultural thing.
That type of thing was popular in Christian nations 1600 yrs ago too. When women are seen as inferior, this is what happens.

It was only recently that women were given equal rights in the US, and even then it’s not even really “equal.”

Answer by rhsaunders
You should hope to live to see the day. A case out of Africa is on point. A woman was raped, and the matter came before an Islamic court. After hearing the matter, the court ruled:
a. That the rapist be stoned to death.
b. That the victim be stoned to death.
(Points for the first correct answer.)

Answer by sen b
The man is obviously an idiot then. That’s his warped view not an Islamic view. I can go get a bible right now and read it there is nothing about my faith that says i cannot read about other religions. That’s so stupid.
And rape in Islam is punishable by death so hes not very smart however he is, is he?
So you found an article in which a poor woman was raped by a person who has his own sick agenda.
I’m a Muslim and i freely teach my children about every faith. Being educated is not a crime in Islam.

I can give you an article too. About 4 Glasgow men who threw rocks at and shouted racial slurs at a Muslim woman walking in the street pushing her 1 year old son. They took off her head scarf and one of them sexually assaulted her then attempted to sexually assault her 1 year old son in the same way. Whats there excuse?
They have none just like the man in the article you provided. Rape and sexual assault is an act of violence no matter what excuse the rape perpetrator has whether they be Muslim, Protestant, atheist, catholic, Buddhist etc etc.

Listen you moron since when did the action of another make it your responsibility?
If a christian commits rape are all other christians supposed to take responsibility for his actions? Or is the rapest himself responsible?
Last time i checked i did not use anothers sin as a reason to commit the same sin. I have not raped anyone and your point is?
Are all catholics responsible for all the child rapes by priests? NO.
No one is saying two wrongs make a right. The point we are trying to get through your thick scull is NO faith, NO race, NO denomination is without sin. But we are all responsible for our own sins. Its called PERSONAL ACCOUNTABLITY!

As you will have to answer for your sins i will have to answer for mine, regardless of what faith it is.
No one ever claimed muslims dont commit crimes or are perfect but you tell me one faith on earth that is without sinners and free of committing crimes.

Answer by amsops
Let teh Muslim consider it.

Answer by Matt D
She better watch it or she could be on trial and get stoned to death for being with a man alone.

Messed up world is it not?

Answer by angeltress
Wait a bit. It was actually her fault. Had to have been, because, as every good Muslim knows, heaven may lie at Mom’s feet, but hell is full of women.
Women are a curse, like a dog or a palm tree. (You know, I never have figured out what the palm tree could have done…)
She could wind up being stoned just for being alone with the guy.
Islam is not a religion of peace, it is a religion of submission. Even the very word “islam” means submission. The agenda is, you will submit, no matter what it takes. If it takes a bullet through your brain, still, you will submit to “Allah”.
Did you know that most of the people in the US who have converted to Islam are black? They think that Islam is a black man’s religion, as opposed to Christianity, which they see as being a white religion. Rather ridiculous, when you consider that both Ishmael and Isaac were the sons of Abraham. Totally foolish when you realize that Muhammed, the great “prophet” owned black slaves himself, and believed that the black race was created for the purpose. Compare to Jesus, who never owned a slave at all, and who taught that we ought to love one another regardless of race.
I guess nobody told them about the Ethiopian who was baptized by Philip…
Can we all say “propaganda”???????????????????

Answer by Noor ala Noor
So we blame Islam for some guy?

In Islam, you cant rape someone, no matter what the circumstance is. So right away we know this guy if he did do it wasnt a Muslim. And if he did do it, Islamically if he was married, he would be stoned to death. Simple.

So, if he is tried under Islamic Law, we will punish him more than you will, but we will see one i doubt he did it, and if he did do it, he is at fault and not Islam.

If we say its the fault of teh American people everytime someone in the White house does something stupid, then we have a probelm.

Answer by sarah. J
i dont even know if this is a legitimate story
and if it is
Are you seriously going to base you opinions of Islam based on one ignorant and obviously not a good muslim?
I honestly dont understand how many time we have to say
that just because someone (especially the people in the middle east who ARE NOT IN THE MOST STABLE CONDITION) does something and is makes all muslims in the world like that person.
So to me you are saying that all muslims are molesters?
Because thats not true.

I like was DBznut said…
the brave and very much honored american soldiers rape little girls, and women and elderly women, then torture them and then kill them…then they kill their families…
but you see, i am not saying that all american soldiers are rapist like you have said about my muslim brothers and sisters, nooo
i know that there are soldiers who do their job and who actually try to help the Iraqis and Iraq itself..
but there are still those people who do those things…
if you are going to point the finger, then you are going to get it back at you…

Like someone told me
“When you point you r finger, you have 3 fingers pointing back at you.”

Answer by Beth in Tokyo
In many Muslim countries, a person (male or female) would be executed or severely tortured for taking an intrest in any other religion besides Islam. This man obviously forgot he was on Australian soil where freedom of religion is a right and rape (for any reason) is illegal.

Psychic William….. Likes to keep it simple and jargon free! Rather than me say how good I am, why not ask those in my room who have had a reading… Anyone can talk a good story.. You decide if I am what you’re looking for :oD

I don’t use any tools although I can use cards if you wish me too. My connection is always given in context and I present evidence all the time. It may be random but it makes sense….
